Serving Size: 12 individual chews

Amounts of ingredients do not have to be exact

120g Macadamia nuts
6 dried Figs
2 Tablespoons of Coconut oil
150g Tart dried cherries
4 Tablespoons chia seeds
2 Tablespoons of Flax-seed-plus a little spare to produce consistency you prefer
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon sea salt

Place nuts, figs coconut oil and cherries in a food processor, pulse until well ground.  You may need to scrape the sides.

Slowly pulse in vanilla, ginger, cinnamon and salt.

Remove mixture from food processor. Roll into balls and wrap in brown paper bags.

Wrapping/storage

Cut brown paper sandwich bags in half, put each ball into the centre of a sheet of paper, enclose the paper and twist.  This is an easy way to store or transport you Cherry Chia Chews to your friends.
