Healthy apple pecan crumble

Satisfy your sweet tooth with this easy, healthy and delicious apple crumble!

  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ lemon, juiced
  • ¼ cup almond meal
  • ¼ cup pecans, chopped
  • 3 tbsp quinoa flakes
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a small ramekin or oven-proof dish.
  2. Combine apple, honey, cinnamon and lemon and spoon into the ramekin.
  3. Combine the almond meal, pecans, quinoa flakes and coconut oil to form a crumble, and spoon on top of the apple mixture.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until browned on top.
