Choc banana protein cookies

These choc banana protein cookies are not only delicious, but also provide a good dose of protein and are free from sugar.

  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 2 medium bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup Synd X protein powder
  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ cup chopped Medjool dates
  • ¼ cup cacao nibs
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • Large pinch of cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Line a tray with baking paper.
  3. In a small bowl, mash banana with a fork.
  4. In a larger bowl, combine eggs, almond milk, oats, protein powder, coconut, almond butter and banana. Stir until well combined.
  5. Sprinkle in Medjool dates and cacao nibs.
  6. Use a tablespoon or ice cream scoop to roll into balls and put on baking sheet. Press down lightly with a fork. You should get approx. 15 cookies.
  7. Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
