Tuna steaks with ginger

Such a quick, easy and healthy meal. Perfect for those on a keto diet. These tuna steaks can be served with a fresh cucumber salad.

  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 4 tsp cold pressed olive oil
  • 1 piece ginger, freshly grated
  • 4 lemon wedges, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Place a tuna steak onto some baking paper.
  3. Spoon over 1 tsp of olive oil, some ginger and a lemon wedge.
  4. Fold your baking paper around the tuna and roll the ends to seal.
  5. Repeat the process 3 more times for other steaks.
  6. Place all parcels in an ovenproof dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. When ready season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve with a fresh cucumber salad.
