Have you pinned down a goal yet? Please get this done as this is very important for motivation and focus. Without a specific goal, it almost feels like you are training for just health and fitness which, in itself, is not such a bad thing! Achieving a personal highlight requires setting an absolute goal – and you DO want to reach your goals . . .

It does not have to be a big race or a big goal. Just finishing a race is a great achievement. Goals have to be individual. Don’t have a weight goal just because your bestie has that goal. Target something you really like or really want to do, achieve. If it is the same one as a friend, then that is great to have help and have someone to share the pain with 🙂

It can also be a personal best time or, as I said, a weight target.

Athletes are goals driven but it does not have to be win driven. Each their own motivators…

Work outs. Always do at least 10min warm up. Walk if you like. Train every second days but you can do Pilates, yoga & stretching or other sports easy on days off

Wed run 30min easy on the flat + soft surface
Fri 30min easy walk
Sun run 45min on undulated course in 10x1min at 80% x1min easy at 60#
Tue 30min easy walk
Thur run 45min Main is 5x100m hard x100m easy jog L1
Sat 30min easy walk
