How is training going? Any little emotional and physical lows yet?

Remember that sport is like life, it is a roller coaster and your strength of character as a person will be tested when things are not going well, not when everything is going smoothly…You will not always feel great, you won’t always be healthy but at the end of the day, the regularity and the attitude you have towards your training will make you who you are as an athlete!

It is also about surrounding yourself with the right people, with the right attitude and a similar way of thinking. It is never too late to start exercising, it is never too late to put you and your health first.

An injury should not be the end of a sport, but maybe the opportunity to try another one!

It is certainly not silly to try and achieve new challenges and dreams, whatever your age!

Please do 5 to 10 min easy jog warm up and warm down and keep running every second day only.

If you want to do extra activities in the middle of those two days, pick something like yoga, Pilates, swimming, walking or riding…

  • Monday 10x75sec tempo in hills & 105sec easy jog down hill
  • Wednesday 60min easy on the soft surface please
  • Friday 10x50sec max on the flat & 70sec easy jog recovery
  • Sunday 60min easy on the soft surface please
  • Tuesday 10x80sec tempo in hills & 100sec easy jog down hill
  • Thursday 60min easy on the soft surface please
  • Saturday 10x55sec max on the flat & 65sec easy jog recovery
