Homemade pesto

The perfect addition to your salad, eggs, chicken and veggie sticks.


  • 2 cups fresh basil
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • ¼ cup macadamias
  • 4 garlic gloves
  • ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • Optional: 3 tbsp nutritional yeast


  1. Add all ingredients (except the oil) into a food processor or blender. Gradually add the oil and process until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  2. Store in a glass jar in the fridge and use within 1 week.
