Chicken and bean lettuce buns

A fast, easy and healthy dinner recipe, these flavoursome chicken and bean lettuce buns are ready in no time at all.

  • 1 whole chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 1 onion diced
  • 5 cloves garlic finely diced
  • 50g green lentils
  • 1 tsp gluten-free tamari
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Boil green lentils and strain.
  2. Shallow fry onion and garlic in the olive oil for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until brown.
  4. Add lentils with a splash of gluten free tamari, stir and serve in cupped lettuce leaves.
