Vitamin C is essential for a healthy immune system and is useful in recurrent or acute colds, viral infections, sinusitis, allergies, cold sores, hay fever, excess mucus congestion, etc.  Vitamin C is also essential for collagen production and is indicated in cases of poor wound healing, reduced skin health, easy bruising and bleeding gums. Vitamin C can be used by the body at an increased rate during high stress periods, smoking, excess alcohol consumption, cases of chronic illness and in the elderly.

Directions for use:

• Adults take a 1g dose (¼ of a 5mL metric teaspoon) twice daily. Mix in 250mL water or juice. Higher doses may be required in some people whose immune system is under stress.
