Selenium is an essential trace mineral that assists in the protection of the body's cells.   In low concentrations selenium has a role in the antioxidant systems and supports healthy immune function. Antioxidant vitamins E and C combined with selenium, act as powerful free radical scavengers to help maintain a healthy heart, liver, pancreas and cardiovascular system. For the temporary relief of the pain of arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. For the prevention of selenium deficiency and maintaining efficiency of thyroid function.

Selenium, an essential biological trace element, is an integral component of several enzymes including glutathione perioxidase.  The powerful anti oxidant glutathione peroxidase is largely dependant on adequate selenium.

Contains no gluten, wheat, dairy products, yeast, artificial flavours or preservatives.

25mcg		Selenium (as selenomethionine)
41mg		d-alpha tocopheryl acid succinate (50IU vitamin E)
5mg		Zinc (as amino acid chelate)
250mg		Calcium ascorbate (equiv to 206mg vitamin C)
60 Tablet container (lasting approximately 2 months)
100 tablet container (lasting approximately 3 months)

Directions for use:

• Adults take 1 tablet daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Cautions and contraindications

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses.  A daily dose of 150mcg for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
