Grilled Tuna Steaks with Warm Cabbage Salad

Serves 4

  • 1 tbspn cold pressed olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups savoy cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 cups red cabbage, finely shredded
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • 1 pink lady apple, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 x 200g tuna steaks


Warm Cabbage Salad

Heat oil in frying pan or wok and stir fry onion and cabbages for two minutes. Add the vinegar, bring to the boil and boil for one minute. Remove from heat, add apple and herbs.


Tuna Steaks

Put tuna steaks on a heated, lightly oiled grill plate or barbecue and cook as desired.
